Established in 2006, Nantucket Millworks is a small, locally owned millshop that specializes in handcrafted, custom exterior doors. With many years of woodworking experience and having successfully fabricated hundreds of interior and exterior doors for homes, cottages, pool cabanas, garages, restaurants, and other commercial businesses; Nantucket Millworks is one of the few remaining shops that produce quality doors the old fashioned way, by hand.

We work with architects, designers, builders, caretakers, and homeowners and make sure that your needs are met and the doors are built to exact specifications.

We start by using only Forestry Sustainable Certified Genuine Mahogany, the only mahogany known and trusted for it’s stability and resilience to an always changing climate. When producing our Hurricane compliant, DP rated exterior doors, our process includes using mortise and tenon joinery and a True Divided Lite, meaning the muntins (which divide the glass) are the same thickness of the door itself; a true work of craftsmanship and not to be confused with Simulated Divided Lite, which is held on by double sided tape.
